Mananya Eats: Crusty Korean Rice @ Cho Sun Ok

There's a lot of great Korean restaurants in Chicago but there's something about Cho Sun Ok that keeps me coming back.

No, not the long lines. Not the cramped space. Not even the poor service.

It's the authenticity. When you step into Cho Sun Ok, you feel like you're in Korea. Not that I would know how that feels, but it makes you feel like you're eating the real thing. Many Koreans frequent here. Majority of them like this burnt fried rice thing. Urhhh I'm not such a fan, but it's an interesting concept! You put all the left-over PAN-CHANS in a stone pot with rice --- fry it up and eat. It gets crusty. You just scrape and eat. Man, it's so crusty!

Check out the images. I'll bet it'll make you want to go to Cho Sun Ok. I warned you about the line and service.
