Chinatown in Chicago isn't THAT big. But, we deserve some props. Plenty of dim sum places (such as Phoenix) or even the infamous Americanized Asian -- Joy Yee Noodles for that gooey overserved filling you crave.

 

If you can handle heat, head over to Lao Sze Chuan. Everything is red here. Red sauce, red peppers.. red oil. Their Mapo Tofu is great. Don't miss their garlic pea pod, Special Chili Stewed Beef, or the Special Dry Chef's Chicken (all pictured below). Oh, and those white balls you see are sweet rice dumplings filled with black sesame. Don't get it.
