Been with Stan for more than half my life (15 years) and it feels like we just started dating! Secret? Surprises. Loads and loads of surprises. As I was walking home from work, I stopped by Pastoral on State and Lake to surprise Stan the Man.

 

I go to Pastoral often to buy sandwiches with my buddy, Zach. So, thought it would be a perfect place to pick up a cheese and/or meat plate. Now, this place isn't cheap. But, you get quality. I wish I could tell you what 8 cheeses and the 8 different meat choices I bought, but didn't bother to ask. I didn't care to ask. Because I trust the products that are offered at Pastoral. They don't sell crap. The people that work there are experts. Every time I go, they have an answer to every question! Can't wait for summer so I can head over to Pastoral before going to Millennium Park for a picnic!
