Mananya Eats: #roys Chicago @RoysRoy
Roy's. Oh boy, Roy's. Years ago as a first timer, it was love at first bite with THE BUTTERFISH. I mean, seriously? How can fish be done so well, so good, so smooth? This is why we frequent Roy's. Just for the butterfish. Totes uh-mazing.
The ambiance is great. In a great location in downtown Chicago. People at Roy's always pleasant and service is pretty darn good. I think the best way to tackle (fish pun intended) Roy's is by doing the prix fixe menu or a sampling of several items...because everything looks so good you'd want to taste everything!

Maine Lobster Bisque with Brandy & Cream
Dynamite Crusted Salmon with Tempura Vegetables, Happy Rice Drunken Nori Sauce
Roy's Classic Trio (Hibachi Grilled Salmon, Blackened Island Ahi & Hawaiian Style Misoyaki Butterfish)
Roy's Melting Hot Chocolate Souffle
Overall, once again, we were not disappointed. I can't stress enough to you the importance of ordering the Roy's Butterfish at least once in your life before you die. Please. That should be added to your "What I want to do and experience before I die" list. #184 EAT AT ROY'S AND ORDER THE MISOYAKI BUTTERFISH.
